Weekend Severe Weather Update

Still looking at the possibility for a round of showers and storms tomorrow and tomorrow evening some of which could be severe . The system is currently developing over the Texas panhandle bringing a line of showers and storms to the central and eastern parts of Texas.  This all slides east later today into tonight . In fact SPC upgraded the outlook for today to include an enhanced risk

All of the activity slides to the east during the overnight period tonight. By tomorrow morning scattered showers and thunderstorms will be scattered throughout Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama. The main line of storm looks to move through late tomorrow afternoon . However , scattered showers and a few pop up storms could get going ahead of the main line. We will need to watch those storms throughout the day tomorrow . The main threat will be from damaging winds and large hail but a brief tornado isn’t out of the question . Below is the latest NAM 3k giving us an idea of what the storms could look like late tomorrow afternoon

The message for the day is to just stay Weather aware. If you live in western portions of the southeast like Arkansas , Louisiana and western Mississippi your threat comes late tonight . For eastern Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia your threat comes tomorrow into tomorrow night . MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RELIABLE WAY TO RECIEVER WARNING !!!!Here is the SPC day two outlook
